Geyser From Water Main Break Creates Sinkhole In OC Neighborhood: Report

A home and some vehicles were also damaged in the water main break, The Orange County Register reported.

FULLERTON, CA — A broken water main damaged a home and some vehicles, creating a sinkhole in Fullerton Sunday afternoon, The Orange County Register reported.

The Fullerton Police Department responded just before 1:10 p.m. to North Parks Road and Las Lanas Lane, where a water main created a geyser that shot through the street, the report said. The sinkhole created by the geyser was about 10 feet in circumference.

Water was shut off in the area by fire department officials, with 10 to 15 households impacted, the report said.
