The Draycott Donating Meals To Local Firefighters; Raising Money

The Draycott, a Pacific Palisades restaurant, is raising money to help it mark Fire Preparedness Month by donating meals to firefighters.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Help The Draycott mark Fire Preparedness Month by donating to the restaurant's "You Give. We Cook. They Eat." program, which provides meals to local firefighters and other first responders.

The restaurant began delivering meals to frontline workers and first responders in April 2020 – soon after the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic – and has donated food to Los Angeles hospitals, fire stations and ambulances.

Though the city is no longer under a stay-at-home order, the restaurant is continuing to provide meals to first responders, and is collecting donations to help it do so through a GoFundMe and at its Pacific Palisades location (15255 Palisades Village Lane).

A link to the GoFundMe page can be found here. That page alone has raised $57,430 since April 9, 2020.

"Your donations to the program will directly support local firefighting heroes by providing meals to those on the front lines," the restaurant said on its website.
