Driver Shears Fire Hydrant On Beverly Glen Boulevard
The crash sent a geyser of water shooting 50 feet up into the air Tuesday morning.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A driver plowed into a fire hydrant on Beverly Glen Boulevard in West Los Angeles Tuesday morning, sending up a geyser of water at least 50 feet into the air, according to authorities.
The water flooded the area, and drivers were being advised to avoid the area around the 2100 block of Beverly Glen Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The driver remained at the scene and was interviewed by officers, and utility crews were notified, police said.
