Flash flooding is still likely to occur in Pacific Palisades for the rest of Monday, the National Weather Service said.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — As Pacific Palisades continues to be pummeled by rainfall — leading to flooding, mudslides and road closures — the National Weather Service says flash flooding remains a risk Monday in the city and surrounding mountains.

"Between 6 and 11 inches of rain have fallen across the warning area. Doppler radar indicated a persistent band of moderate to heavy rain across the warning area and extending offshore which will likely continue into the early evening hours," the NWS wrote.
