Woman, 80, Pinned Beneath Vehicle In Brentwood Crash

An 80-year-old woman was pinned beneath a vehicle during a collision Tuesday afternoon.

LOS ANGELES, CA — An 80-year-old woman was rescued after she was pinned beneath a vehicle in a crash in Brentwood Tuesday afternoon.

The collision was reported at around 1 p.m. on Gorham Avenue, just south of San Vicente Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

She was "pinned beneath a vehicle following a traffic collision." Crews extricated her in about 10 minutes, according to the LAFD.

The woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

It's unclear whether the woman was a pedestrian or driving one of the vehicles involved in the crash.
