3rd Annual Fundraiser Planned At Children's Children's Discovery Museum of the Desert

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA — The Children's Discovery Museum of the Desert will host its third annual fundraiser benefiting the museum's educational programs and outreach initiatives next month in Rancho Mirage, officials announced Monday.

The event will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Feb. 3 at Las Casuelas Nuevas, 70-050 CA-111.

The "Celebrating Discovery" fundraiser will support several programs and initiatives, including early childhood education, school field trips, accessibility initiatives and inclusive learning experiences for children of all abilities, officials said.

The event will feature a hosted bar, live music and a silent auction.

"After an incredible year of growth and re-imagination at the museum, this event is a chance to come together as a community and celebrate what discovery truly means for children," Cindy Burreson, the museum's CEO, said in a statement. "Every ticket sold helps us continue offering meaningful, joyful and accessible programming for the families we serve."
