Purple Passion Day Kicks Off Walk To End Alzheimer's

Register today and start fundraising for the 18th annual Walk to End Alzheimer's 2017, taking place Saturday morning, Feb. 18.

From the Alzheimer's Association: Alzheimer’s Association volunteers dressed in purple will be delivering Walk to End Alzheimer’s brochures and posters along with thank you goodies to businesses across the Coachella Valley on Tuesday, Jan 17, announced Walk Chairman Dom Calvano .

“This is the third annual Purple Passion Day. Our aim is to let more folks know about the Alzheimer’s Association and the upcoming Walk on Feb.18,” said Calvano. “By visiting all kinds of businesses in the desert communities, we hope to encourage them to become involved by creating employee teams. Whenever we connect with employees who have been touched by Alzheimer’s in their families, it prompts powerful emotions. Often an employer is not even aware that this disease takes a great toll on their employees and everyone involved.”

If your business would like to have posters and brochures at Purple Passion Day, please contact Dom Calvano at (760) 469-4633.
