Police Seek Suspect In Bike Robbery Attempt On Palo Alto Bridge
A man in his 30s was biking southbound along the bridge that separates Menlo Park from Palo Alto when he was blocked by the suspect.

PALO ALTO, CA — Palo Alto police are seeking a suspect in an attempted robbery along a pedestrian/bicycle bridge over San Francisquito Creek on Saturday.
A man in his 30s was biking southbound along the bridge that separates Menlo Park from Palo Alto when he was blocked by the suspect, who demanded his bike and attempted to grab the handlebars, according to police. The victim rode past him, but the suspect spat on him and threw a beer can at him, police said.
The suspect was described by the victim as a Black man in his 30s with a medium build, wearing a gray sweater, gray shorts and possibly a blue beanie. It is possible the suspect was under the influence of alcohol, police said.
