Man's Injuries Non-Life Threatening In San Pedro Cliff Rescue
The unidentified man was taken to a hospital for treatment of moderate to serious injuries, authorities said.

SAN PEDRO, CA -- A man who was rescued Tuesday afternoon after he either jumped or fell off a seaside cliff in San Pedro suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters were dispatched around 1:50 p.m. to the 1800 block of West Paseo Del Mar in San Pedro South Shores where they found the 38-year-old man at the bottom of the cliff conscious and alert, LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey said.
Witnesses said the victim may have had a "behavioral emergency" prior to his fall or jump down a cliff that was steep but not sheer, Humphrey said.
