Expect Road Closures in PVE for Resurfacing
Streets will be resurfaced in Palos Verdes Estates beginning Monday.
The city of Palos Verdes Estates begins a street resurfacing project Monday on several streets in the city, resulting in intermittent road closures.
Work will begin on weekdays at 8 a.m. and concluded at 5 p.m. Road work will not take place on the weekends, according to the city.
Here are the roads scheduled to be resurfaced this week:
Monday
- Westbound, a portion of Palos Verdes Drive North between the city limit and the Triangle Area
- Eastbound, a portion of Palos Verdes Drive North between Via Las Vegas and the city limit
Tuesday
- Eastbound, a portion of Palos Verdes Drive North between the Triangle Area and Via Las Vegas
Wednesday
- Both directions, a portion of Palos Verdes Drive North between the city limit and the Triangle Area
Thursday
- Via Almar between Via Arroyo and Via Del Puente
- Westbound, a portion of Palos Verdes Drive West between Via Corta and Paseo Del Mar
Friday
- Via Corta between Palos Verdes Drive West and Via Del Puente
- Eastbound, a portion of Palos Verdes Drive West between Via Corta and Paseo Del Mar
A second round of resurfacing will begin the week of Aug. 26.
