It was dark at the time of the shooting, and police did not have a description of the shooter as of Saturday afternoon. The shooter was in a white or silver car, according to police.

The gunfire rattled shoppers at the busy center as word of the mysterious shooting spread. Police cordoned off parts of the shopping center and canvassed the area. Movie goers were turned away from the center's AMC Rolling Hills 20.

Detectives have not identified a possible shooter or motive, said Farley.
