Have a Hankering to Do Your Civic Duty? Registrar Looking for Pollworkers

Not only do you get to feel patriotic pride, you could also make $175 for the day's work.

The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk is seeking volunteers to be pollworkers on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Volunteer pollworkers, who can earn up to $175 for the day, will have duties that include setting up the poll locations, assisting voters, issuing ballots, and taking down the polling place at the end of the day.

Anyone interested in volunteering can download and mail an application with the link below or fill out the application form online at www.lavote.net.
