Monday Essentials: City Council Candidate Debate

Here are five things Palos Verdes residents should know this week:

1. The Rolling Hills City Council will meet Monday at 7:30 p.m. The Rolling Hills Estates City Council will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m., as will the Palos Verdes Estates City Council. All council meetings will be at the cities' respective city halls.
   
2. Candidates for Rancho Palos Verdes City Council will debate the issues at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center.
3. Rancho del Mar High School will host its back-to-school night Wednesday, while back-to-school nights for Palos Verdes Peninsula and Palos Verdes high schools are scheduled for Thursday.
