RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Two suspected prowlers were arrested in the Portuguese Bend Community in Rancho Palos Verdes, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Lomita Station.

Deputies received a call about a suspicious vehicle in the landslide area in the middle of the night, officials said. Due to the ongoing state of emergency, law enforcement is familiar with which residents are allowed in the gated community and said they didn't recognize the suspect vehicle.

"After investigating what business the two visitors had in our neighborhood at the odd hours of the night, it was determined they were up to no good," LASD officials said.
