Road Work Planned In Rancho Palos Verdes
Expect some traffic delays along Palos Verdes Drive East while Cal Water installs a water pipeline in the area.

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Drivers can expect some traffic delays as crews install a water pipeline along Palos Verdes Drive East this month, according to the city of Rancho Palos Verdes.
A Cal Water contractor begins the road work on PV Drive East and Via Subida, from Via Colinita to La Vista Verde Drive, and in the 6200 block of Via Subida, starting Nov. 15.
Work will take place over two months from Monday to Friday from approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cal Water will minimize traffic impacts and notify customers of any service interruptions.

"Please proceed cautiously through the work zone and obey all signs and instructions due to lane closures and construction equipment," city officials said. "All construction timing is estimated and could change based on several factors, including unforeseeable field circumstances."
This work is part of a wildfire hardening project to improve water supply reliability and provide fire protection in the area.
