Suspect Steals From Lifeguard Tower: Palos Verdes Crime Blotter

Rancho Palos Verdes
BURGLARY
- Vehicle - June 10 - 3700 block of La Rotunda Drive
- The driver's side keyhole of a car was punched, authorities said, but nothing was reported stolen.
- Vehicle - June 14 -3700 block of La Rotunda Drive
- A suspect shattered the rear driver's side window of a vehicle and stole a purse, driver's license and credit cards from inside.
- Vehicle - June 14 - 5900 block of Palos Verdes Drive South
- According to the Sheriff's Station, a suspect attempted to break into a vehicle but was unsuccessful. A window frame and glass were damaged.
- Vehicle - June 14 - 31000 block of Palos Verdes Drive South
- A suspect picked the lock of a vehicle and stole a backpack, laptop, cash, a tablet and medication from inside.
- Lifeguard Tower - June 1-15 - Ocean Trails Drive
- A suspect stole a rescue can, a cellphone and a charger from the inside of a Palos Verdes lifeguard tower, according to the Sheriff's Station.
- Residential - June 15 - 28000 block of Seamount Drive
- The rear sliding glass door of a home was pried open, but it is unknown whether anything was stolen.

- Auto - June 14 - 28000 block of Western Avenue
- A catalytic converter was taken from a vehicle, police said. No additional information was available.
SHOPLIFTING
- Shoplifting - June 12 - 30000 block of Hawthorne Boulevard
- A suspect reportedly stole paper towels, laundry items and dog food from a business in Rancho Palos Verdes.

GRAND THEFT
- Theft - June 11 - Peninsula Center
- A suspect stole skincare products from a business inside the Peninsula Center, according to deputies.
- Trailer - June 10 - 500 block of Deep Valley Road
- A power washer trailer was reported stolen, authorities said. No additional information was available.
BURGLARY
- Business - June 10 - Peninsula Center
- A suspect stole alcohol from a business inside the Peninsula Center, according to deputies.
- Garage - June 13 - Lariat Lane
- A suspect rolled up the garage door of a home and stole a bicycle and cash from inside, the Sheriff's Station said.
