Today Is National Be Late for Something Day—For Real
Here are some things to look forward to today in Palos Verdes.

Happy Thursday! Here are five things Palos Verdes residents should know today:
- The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Lomita Station will unveil a brand new Emergency Command trailer today at 11 a.m. at the station's rear parking lot, located at 26123 S. Narbonne Ave. in Lomita. The cities of Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills Estates, Rolling Hills and Lomita purchased the trailer. Watch for a story later about the new trailer.
- I sometimes feel like I'm late for everything, but apparently I was a day early when it came to National Be Late for Something Day, which is celebrated Sept. 5 (or today—not yesterday). What are you always late for?
