Stoplights Out at Crenshaw, PVDN

The stoplights at Crenshaw Boulevard and Palos Verdes Drive North in Rolling Hills were out Thursday afternoon due to continued work on the Palos Verdes Drive North Bike Lane Project.

Traffic was backed up on northbound Crenshaw Boulevard all the way to Silver Spur Road.

According to RHE Assistant City Manager Greg Grammer, the work has been continuing throughout the week; however, most of it has been done in the afternoon before 2 p.m., when traffic is lightest.


"They're supposed to wrap (the work) up today," he said. "That's why we're ... extending (the work) beyond the 2 o'clock deadline."

Grammer did not anticipate a need for traffic signal outages Friday.
