Is This Your Tortoise? Police Found This Slowpoke Wandering Around A PVE Neighborhood
Palos Verdes Estates police are asking for the public's help in looking for its owner.

PALOS VERDES ESTATES, CA — Police are asking for the public's help in finding the owner of a tortoise who was found wandering around a Palos Verdes Estates neighborhood this week.
The tortoise was found "safe and sound" in the 2500 block of Via Olivera, the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department said in a statement on social media Tuesday.
"We're sure someone out there is missing their shell-covered companion," the PVEPD said on social media. "Let’s get this little traveler back home."

Police ask that anyone who recognizes the turtle or knows who it might belong to contact the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department at 310-378-4211 or visit the station.
