Langham Offers Dog Dining & Spa Treatments
To celebrate the release of Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3, part of which was filmed at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, the luxury spot is offering pooch pampering options.
Pasadena’s Langham Huntington Hotel & Spa is going to the dogs, literally.
While the hotel (formerly the Ritz-Carlton) has long been a luxury destination for people, their four-legged friends can now get in on the regal experience.
Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva La Fiesta, the latest installment of the kids film franchise, filmed scenes at the Langham and the hotel is celebrating the movie’s DVD and BlueRay release by debuting its lavish Langham Huntington Doggie Program.

If you want to bring your pooch along with you for your Langham stay and book the doggie program, the hotel’s website mentions that “you and your dog will receive the in-room use of a luxurious Langham pink porcelain pet bowl, gold mat and a plush pink bed pillow; a bag of gourmet doggie treats upon check-in; a doggie door hanger; and The Langham Huntington Doggie Newsletter, which is full of activities for you and your dog to enjoy at the hotel and around town. The Langham Huntington Doggie Program also includes a one-time room deep cleaning upon check-out.”
But what would a Langham stay be without spa treatments and gourmet dining?

An in-room doggie dining menu with items like Scrappy’s Steak n’ Eggs (petite filet mignon, served with two scrambled eggs) will keep your dog better fed than many people. Grain-free and gluten-free food is also available. And don’t forget the afternoon tea treats!
Since being man’s (and woman’s) best friend is hard work, Certified Canine Massage Therapists Bliss Paws can provide in-room spa services like Swedish, acupressure and other massages with the owner present. Aromatherapy and even yoga ball exercise can be added on to a treatment. By the end, hopefully your pooch’s namesake downward-facing dog pose will be in fine form.
What do you think of these offerings for dogs at the Langham? If you have a dog, are you interested in the Doggie Program?
