2 Petaluma Drivers Accused Of DUI After Weekend Crashes
Police allege drunk drivers were responsible for two crashes that caused injuries Sunday in Petaluma.
PETALUMA, CA — Two Petaluma men were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Sunday after separate crashes caused injuries in Petaluma.
According to police, multiple 911 callers reported the first crash shortly before 4 a.m. at a home on Windsor Lane. Officers determined a Mercedes SUV was driving west on Windsor when it crashed through a fence, hit two small trees and came to a stop in someone's backyard.
Police said three people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash and determined Keyvan Gahazalgou, 30, of Petaluma, was the driver. Investigators allege Gahazalgou showed "objective signs of intoxication" and determined he was under the influence of alcohol.

Police said a passenger suffered injuries in the crash and officers booked Gahazalgou into jail on suspicion of felony DUI after completing a blood draw.
Later in the day, police investigated reports of a rear-end crash on Payran Street. Officers arrived at the scene and determined one of the drivers was intoxicated. Police identified the suspect as Wyatt Agajan, 31, of Petaluma. Investigators said two people inside the vehicle that was hit suffered minor injuries. Agajan was booked into the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of felony DUI.
