Freeze Watch For Petaluma Issued By NWS

PETALUMA, CA — If you have sensitive plants, including many citrus trees, you may need to cover them or bring them inside, along with pets.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze watch for much of the Bay Area, including Petaluma. The watch goes into effect overnight Tuesday and continues through Thursday morning.

Here in Petaluma, temps are expected to get close to the freezing mark, accompanied by widespread fog Tuesday evening.

Looking ahead to the weekend, up to an inch of rain may fall in parts of the Bay Area between Friday and Sunday. The forecast will come into sharper focus as the weekend approaches.
