Girl, 7, Struck In Sonoma County Hit-And-Run: CHP

Police are seeking the driver of a white Toyota Prius manufactured between 2010 and 2017.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA —The California Highway Patrol is seeking the driver responsible for hitting a 7-year-old girl with a car, knocking her to the ground.

The incident was reported shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, on Green Valley Road just north of Sullivan Road, Santa Rosa CHP Spokesperson David deRutte said.

CHP officers determined that a mother and her children were walking on the east shoulder of the rural roadway when a white car traveling northbound on Green Valley veered to the right and struck the child.
