'Kamala Jam': Petaluma Woman Peddles Jars Of Jam To Support Campaign
"I'd love to see a woman president in my lifetime," said Leslie "Lala" Goodrich, who is donating part of her jam sales to Harris's campaign.

PETALUMA, CA — A Petaluma woman is getting her jam on to help Vice President Kamala Harris win the U.S. presidential election this November.
Leslie "Lala" Goodrich, the owner-operator of Lala's Jam Bar and Urban Farmstand at 720 E. Washington St. in Petaluma, crafted Kamala's red, white and blueberry jam, which consists of raspberries, white sugar and blueberries.
She sells the jam online and at her farmstand, and is donating a portion of sales to the Harris presidential campaign. Each 8-oz. jar of Kamala Jam is $15, $5 of which goes to the campaign. Her goal was to sell 1,000 jars. By 5 p.m. Monday, she'd raised $7,611 in donations for the Harris-Walz campaign.

She and Harris also have something in common: they were both born in Oakland and lived in the East Bay during childhood.

Goodrich hopes that one day, she can present a jar of the jam to Harris.
The presidential hopeful is likely to be impressed. Goodrich has won awards from the Sonoma County Harvest Fair for her Jalapeno Pepper Jelly and her Strawberry Rosemary Jam. Other flavors for sale at her farmstand and on her website Lalasjams.com include Blueberry Lime Jam, Champagne Apricot Jam, Blackberry Jam and Hot Pepper Jam.
The award-winning Goodrich also finds time to teach Jam Making 101 and offers custom-label jams as party favors for weddings, birthdays and other events.
One thing she will not be making, she told the news station, is Donald Trump Jam.
