Live Video Shows Protesters Gathering in Santa Rosa

Protesters in Santa Rosa have marched to the county sheriff's department headquarters Tuesday afternoon.

The group, which the San Francisco Chronicle estimates at more than 1,000, is decrying the killing by a Sonoma County Sheriff's deputy of 13-year-old Andy Lopez last week.

Andy was holding an Airsoft-style rifle, which deputies believed to be a real weapon.

The video above shows the crowd from the NBC Bay Area helicopter.
