Nevermind: The D Street Bridge is Back Open
It was originally scheduled to be closed all weekend.
Hours after the city announced Petaluma's D Street bridge would be closed through the weekend and possibly longer, residents got some good news:
The bridge was back open, way ahead of schedule.
"We are once again taking reservations from our yachting public and visitors for bridge openings," the city said on its Facebook page. "Special thanks to our amazing Streets Crew for their hard work!"
