Pet Bunny, Other Items Taken By Thieves In Rash Of Burglaries: Police
Police said the bunny and several items were stolen in a rash of thefts from the Cerro Sonoma and South Gate neighborhoods in Petaluma.

PETALUMA, CA — The Petaluma Police Department is investigating a rash of thefts in the Cerro Sonoma and South Gate neighborhoods.
Police received over 10 reports of vehicle burglaries and the theft of a loved family pet, Snowy the Bunny. The break-ins happened Monday during the early morning hours. While some cars were unlocked, the windows on other cars were broken out.
A resident reported that their pet bunny, Snowy, was removed from its enclosure and taken by the two thieves. The resident sent a link to their surveillance video, which is posted below.

In addition, personal items were stolen from the vehicles, including currency, wallets, IDs, Beats headphones, GPS devices, a compound bow, and two BB guns, police said.
In one incident, the thieves used a garage door opener to enter a resident's garage and search through cabinets.
