Person Killed After Struck By SMART Train On Tracks: PPD
The person struck by a SMART train Friday morning in Petaluma died at the scene: PPD.
PETALUMA, CA — A person died Friday morning being struck by a SMART train Friday in Petaluma near Payran Street.
The collision happened around 9:53 a.m. near the Cinnabar Bridge. The SMART train was traveling southbound from Windsor to Larkspur at the time.
There were 57 passengers and two crew members on board the train. None were injured, according to SMART.

The person on the tracks was pronounced dead at the scene.
Petaluma Police Department are still investigating the accident.
