Residential Burglars Sought After Fleeing From Petaluma Break-In
Police believe the burglars fled when they saw a resident inside.
PETALUMA, CA — A resident in Petaluma spooked two burglars as they broke into a home on Sage Way on Friday afternoon, according to police.
Petaluma police said that officers were called to the 1800 block of Sage Way at 2:49 p.m. after receiving a report of the burglary.
Officers allegedly found the rear glass door of the home smashed. Police believe the burglars fled when they saw a resident inside.

One suspect was wearing a tan hat and neon scarf around his neck. The other person had a face covering, police said.
