Runaway Cow Reported On Sonoma County Roadway

The white or light-colored bovine was last seen heading north on Stony Point Road.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — California Highway Patrol was getting reports of a runaway cow Tuesday morning in an unincorporated area of Petaluma.

Reports started coming in shortly after 9 a.m. about a white or light-colored cow seen west of U.S. Highway 101 on Stony Point Road.

The bovine was last seen at 9:18 a.m., heading northbound on Stony Point near Jewett Road.

There was no vehicle associated with the cow, according to reports.
