Good Samaritans Save Man From Burning Contra Costa Car: WATCH
A group of people stopped on a freeway to help a man stuck in the blaze.

CONTA COSTA COUNTY, CA -- Most people would probably run away from a fire, not toward it. But for some good Samaritans in Contra Costa County, they ran toward the fire to save a man's life.
The California Highway Patrol said a man was driving on eastbound Interstate 80 earlier this month when he crashed into the center divide. The crash caused a fire to erupt with the 62-year-old man stuck inside the 1991 Cadillac sedan.
"Some good Samaritans recognized the danger and stopped to pull the man from the burning car," the CHP wrote in a Facebook post. "Once the man was safely away from the burning wreckage, CHP Officer Puckett single-handedly put out the fire with his extinguisher."
