Hill was later allegedly seen forcing his way into a silver Prius, pushing the driver into the passenger seat, according to sheriff's officials. Law enforcement personnel attempted to remove him from the car but the suspect responded by accelerating backwards, towards three officers and a police canine, according to the sheriff's office. Hill was apparently an acquaintance of the person in the Prius.
The vehicle was initially reported as being connected to Uber but sheriff's officials have since clarified that it is not. Hill, a parolee who resides in the Richmond and Sacramento areas, is now being sought on suspicion of attempted murder on a peace officer for the incident, according to sheriff's deputies.
He's described as a bald man with brown eyes who stands at 6 feet 3 inches and weighs roughly 280 pounds. Sheriff's officials said he has tattoos of music symbols on his neck. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call (925) 646-2441.
