Assistance League Thrift Shop Prepares for Fall Merchandise Clearance

As summer makes its final statement, the forward-thinking member volunteers at Assistance League® Thrift Shop, located next to the Park Theater in Lafayette, busily prepare for the Fall Merchandise Event scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 9, at 10 am.

You might want to arrive early and, while under the watchful eye of Marquis de Lafayette, claim your place in line. As you step into this well-known landmark, let your eyes take in the hues and tones of Nature, while a mere touch of various textures prepare you for cooler temperatures.

Specifically, an assortment of men’s and women’s clothing will include sweaters, jackets, jeans and scarves/mufflers. The prices will start at $6 and cap, no pun intended, at a mere $30! You couldn’t buy a large pizza for that pittance!

As night follows the day, please know that your generous donations and discerning purchases are most appreciated, in that they finance 16 hands-on programs to improve lives in the community.
