Assistance League Thrift Shop’s Thanksgiving/Ski Event Nears

No matter what our circumstance, the need to share prevails.

A setting such as this, where you are one-on-one with Nature, might help shape your path for the following year.

The member volunteers at Assistance League® Thrift Shop, located next to the Park Theater in Lafayette, happily announce that this year’s Thanksgiving/Ski Event will begin on Tuesday, November 4, at 10 a.m. As you enter the well-known landmark, find every available inch laden with such niceties as metal and glass pumpkins, as well as other holiday-themed table decorations and linens, all promising to further enhance this year’s holiday observance.

Completing the Thanksgiving holiday weekend might include a skiing adventure that offers a fitness follow-up to offset the bountiful meals enjoyed. To that end, explore further to discover an area filled with men’s and women’s ski parkas, pants, hats, goggles, gloves and after ski boots, all available for a fraction of their original costs.

An additional financial enhancement, any ski merchandise not sold will be included in a Half-Off Sale, scheduled to begin Tuesday, November 11, beginning at 10 a.m. You might surprise yourself by saving money twice!
