DVC Student Aims For Miss California Latina Title
Edna Ramirez, 20, will compete as Miss East Bay Latina in the statewide competition.
A DVC student is on her way to becoming Miss California Latina 2013.
Edna Ramirez currently holds the title of Miss East Bay and will compete in the statewide competition at the end of the year. The 20-year-old was born in Walnut Creek, raised in Bay Point, and is currently working on a communications degree at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill.
If Ramirez wins, she'll go on to the national finals for a chance to become Miss Latina USA.

Contestants are judged in three stages: the interview round, the evening gown competition and the swimsuit competition.
