Meals on Wheels Diablo Region Wants YOU to Volunteer!

Are you looking for a fun way to give back to your community? Meals on Wheels Diablo Region wants YOU to consider becoming a Friendly Helper!

As a Friendly Helper, you will run errands for seniors, such as going grocery shopping, picking up items from the pharmacy, stamps from the post office, taking them to a doctor’s appointment, or other tasks that help elders who are homebound or need assistance.

Friendly Helpers agree to do at least two errands each month, making it perfect for people who are willing to make a difference despite their busy schedules. Some errands can even be done in the evening or on the weekends. Seniors reimburse Friendly Helpers for any item purchased. We have a long list of seniors who need a Friendly Helper in Brentwood, Pittsburg, Antioch, Discovery Bay, Oakley, Pinole, San Pablo, Richmond, El Cerrito, Hercules, Concord, San Ramon, and other cities throughout Contra Costa.

Our older neighbors are able to thrive because of MOW Diablo Region’s amazing Friendly Helpers. We would be delighted to have you on the team!
