PH Rotary Silent Auction Benefiting Meals on Wheels Diablo Region

Meals on Wheels Diablo Region is honored to be chosen as a beneficiary of the Pleasant Hill Rotary’s 2021 St. Patrick’s Day Gala Celebration. This year’s celebration will take place virtually from March 20-25 and will also benefit The Monument Crisis Center and the Pleasant Hill Rotary Foundation's grants program. Since the onset of Covid-19, Meals on Wheels Diablo Region has seen a 40% increase in clients needing delivered meals. This number will remain high after the pandemic because Covid-19 has illustrated how many seniors are food insecure, how fragile their support system is, and the myriad of social issues they face every day. MOW Diablo Region is the only Meals on Wheels in the entire county that provides both wraparound services that keep seniors safe at home and delivered meals.
