Pleasant Hill Candidate Forum Wednesday - Will You Be There?

The eight city council candidates and the city clerk candidates will face off at the council chambers Wednesday night.

The eight candidates seeking three seats on the Pleasant Hill City Council will square off Wednesday in a candidate forum sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. The forum will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.

The council candidates are:

Jeremy Cloward 
David Durant
Tim Flaherty
Michael Flake
Matthew Rinn
Jim Bonato
Jessica Braverman

Mark Celio, the City Treasurer, is seeking a second term, and is unchallenged, though his name will appear on the ballot.

Each candidate has subscribed to the City of Pleasant Hill’s Fair Campaign Pledge. Copies are available at the City Clerk’s office located at 100 Gregory Lane.

The forum will be broadcast on the City Channel on Comcast Channel 28, AT&T U-verse Channel 99 and Astound Channel 29

The last day to register to vote for the November 6, 2012 election is Monday, October 22, 2012. Voter registration cards may be obtained in the City Clerk’s office.
