According to the complaint filed by Harrison | Kristopher LLP, multiple tenants — including Adeep’s family — notified management multiple times about the garage’s faulty door, according to reports.
The door was reportedly “known to jam and trap people inside," according to reports. "Despite these repeated warnings, the hazard was never addressed.”

I'ts not clear why there was carbon monoxide in the garage at the time.
The family alleges that no one from the apartment complex's ownership offered condolences after the fatal incident. Patch was unable to reach a spokesperson for Wood Creek Apartment Homes for comment.
“Adeep was a devoted son and a hard worker, with his entire life ahead of him,” the family’s attorney Edi P. Kristopher told reporters. “This was not just an accident; it was a consequence of negligence. The apartment complex was aware of the danger and chose to ignore it. Now, a family is left with immeasurable loss and unanswered questions."
