1st Wednesday Parties Return To Downtown Pleasanton

From PDA: Get ready for fun in downtown as 1st Wednesday Street Parties return to Main Street May 3, June 7, July 5, and August 2. 1st Wednesdays are where we can all gather, celebrate and enjoy the heart of our community! This year the Pleasanton Downtown Association is bringing you more children’s activities, live music, food trucks from Food Truck Mafia, vendor exhibits and an enhanced Beer & Wine Garden.

• KID ZONE – There is something for everyone to enjoy during 1st Wednesdays! In May bring the kids out to enjoy theme park style Teacup rides by Fun and Game Rentals, bungee trampolines and an innovative arts and crafts experience with the Alameda County Fair! All happening in the Kids Zone located on St. Mary Street and Main.
• FOOD, FOOD, FOOD! – Get ready to indulge in some of the best street eats of the Bay Area. Food Truck Mafia will feature four new trucks each month at 1st Wednesday Street Parties to meet your foodie needs. Enjoy your food truck finds while sitting and listening to live music in the Entertainment Garden in the Inklings lot. Indulge in sweet treats from downtown vendors Primrose Bakery, Noland’s Cake Shop and Rita’s Italian Ice. Or relax and take in the scene at one of our beautiful downtown restaurant patios while enjoying a delicious meal.
• BEER & WINE GARDEN – Located within the Entertainment Garden adults 21 years of age and older will enjoy our rocking bands! Handles on Main will be pouring their craft beer and local wineries will serve up their best varietals by the glass.
• MUSIC, MUSIC & MUSIC - In addition to the featured band in the Entertainment Garden, we will be welcoming musicians throughout 1st Wednesdays! Local bands will be featured in various locations during the event season. In May Ruckatan Latin Tribe will turn up the heat and help us celebrate Cinco de Mayo in the Entertainment Garden.
