After a commercial vehicle made a "reckless" turn, 40,000 pounds of scrap metal went tumbling onto Owens Drive.

PLEASANTON, CA — After a commercial vehicle made a "reckless" turn in Pleasanton this week, 40,000 pounds of scrap metal went tumbling into the street, police said.

The scrap metal landslide occurred on Owens Drive, the Pleasanton Police Department tweeted.

"Fortunately, nobody was hurt," officers said. "Please remember to follow the rules of the road, secure your equipment, and drive carefully, Pleasanton!"
