Boston Marathon Locked Down After Explosion; List of Local Runners
Eight Pleasanton residents finished today's race, which is currently locked down after two explosions were reported at the finish line in Boston.
The Boston Marathon, a destination race that historically draws runners from all corners of the world, was locked down Monday after two explosions at the finish line.
There have been reports of injuries.
According to the race website, eight Pleasanton residents finished the 26.2 mile course. (Click the link to look up runners by city, state.)

I'm ok everyone. The explosion was right behind my finish and my cousin Lynn Olavarri was ahead of me. Very glad that I ran faster than I expected to!! —Nancy Morehead

Thank you all for checking in on us. Erin and I are safe and back in our hotel. We had finished the race and were about a half mile away when we heard the explosion and saw the smoke. So scary!!! —Lynn Muise
Friends and Family...We are all safe everything is crazy but we are in a bar (go figure) in the hotel! Cell service was suspended and is now spotty...but we are all good just saddened by todays events. Love you all!!!!!! —Robyn Roybal
Reports on Google's Person Finder: Boston Marathon Explosions show Karen Richards also is safe. Tara Walsh posted the following information:
Spoke to a friend who had direct contact with Karen's husband, Kevin. She is not injured.
