BREAKING: Lanes Reopen on I-680 After Morning Crash, Major Delays Expected

Sunol, CA— All lanes on southbound Interstate Highway 680 just north of Andrade Road near the Sunol Grade have reopened this morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a minor injury collision occurred shortly after 5 a.m. blocking three lanes on the highway.

A Sig-alert was issued at 5:51 a.m., however the express lane was still available to drivers A CHP officer said traffic was significantly backed up in the area and that drivers should expect major delays.

There was no information on the condition of the drivers involved in the incident.
