Constantino Leads All Comers From Beyond Arc
Las Positas star from Lathrop has 72 threes in 13 games; highest total for all women's collegiate levels
Las Positas College guard Kierstin Constantino has reached national heights, thanks to her outside shooting prowess.
With 72 3-pointers over 13 games, Constantino, a sophomore Lathrop High graduate, not only leads the 3C2A in total 3-pointers, but she also tops leaders in the category in NCAA Division 1, 2 and 3, NAIA, and NJCAA.
The only player remotely close to her is Caitlin Clark of Iowa with 68 threes.
Constantino ranks third in the 3C2A in points per game at 25.1. Her freshman Hawks teammates Joyce Mulumba (22.6) and Monique Cavness (20.1) are ranked first and second in the state in rebounds per game.
The Hawks (3-10) travel to Monterey Peninsula on Friday to complete nonconference.
