Danville Brewing Co. To Open 2nd Location, Biergarten In Pleasanton
The popular Danville brewery and restaurant just bought an unused acre in Pleasanton, where it plans to build a new location.

DANVILLE, CA — Danville Brewing Company plans to open a second location in Pleasanton containing a production brewery, taproom, restaurant, and biergarten, the popular brewery announced in a post that has garnered 404 likes and 153 ecstatic comments.
The brewery just closed on an undeveloped acre lot at an undisclosed location around downtown Pleasanton, General Manager Max Brown told Patch in an interview. They plan to build a roughly 10,000-square-foot space from the ground up that will open at some point in the next few years, though it is too early to give concrete details.
The new location will continue Danville Brewing’s tradition of serving fresh, local food and beer, but there will be some key differences. “Different food, different ambiance, different experience for sure,” Brown said. “We’re gonna have a giant biergarten for people to have events that we can’t have here, we’ll have the big production brewery that will maybe be a little bit more open possibly than it is here.”

The Danville Brewing Company opened on Railroad Avenue in 2016, and quickly became a popular gathering spot renowned for its home-brewed beers and friendly atmosphere. “We really care about the product itself, and the environment where everybody feels welcome,” Brown said. “The whole point of this next location is to bring this love of craft in this beautiful community we’re proud to be in and share it with a bigger audience.”
