Denica's Real Food Kitchen Opens Pleasanton Location

The beloved chain known for its creative takes on breakfast food has opened its fourth location on Rosewood Drive.

PLEASANTON, CA — Just in time for the New Year, Pleasanton has a great new restaurant. Denica’s Real Food Kitchen, known for its creative twists on brunch and pastries, is opening up its third location in Pleasanton.

Denica’s is a joint venture between husband and wife couple James and Denica Freitas, who joined their two businesses, Cakes by Denica and Cookie Express, to open Denica’s Pastry Café in Dublin in 2000. Since then, the pair opened locations in Livermore and Castro Valley, which offer all varieties of croissants, cookies, coffees and lattes, omelets, pancakes, French toast, and burritos. They also cater, offering options like trays of burritos, cookies, pastries, and salads.

The new Pleasanton location is open on 4503 Rosewood Drive, in the space formerly home to Red Robin Gourmet Burgers. In addition to food, they offer play tables for children and a photo booth.
