Driver Arrested After SUV Plows Into Pleasanton Home, DUI Suspected
It is at least the second time in one month that a vehicle has crashed into a home in Pleasanton.

PLEASANTON, CA — A suspected drunk driver was arrested in Pleasanton after an SUV plowed into a home earlier this month, police said.
The Pleasanton Police Department got a call about a Honda Pilot crashing into a house near Springdale Ave. and Fairoaks Dr. at 12:30 a.m. on March 14, Teri Yan, a spokesperson for the department told Patch.
The driver, who was not named, was arrested and taken to Santa Rita Jail on suspicion of driving under the influence, Yan said.

No injuries were reported but there is structural damage to the home, Yan said.
"Fortunately, there were no serious injuries," Pleasanton police said of the crash in a post on X. "Don't forget to drive sober, Pleasanton!"

It is the second time a vehicle has crashed into a home this month. On March 16, a Tesla SUV crashed into a home off South Valley Trails in Pleasanton, according to the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department.
