I-680 Highway Connector Reopened After Fatal Morning Crash

One person died after a truck reportedly crashed into a center divider on the connector.

PLEASANTON, CA: The California Highway Patrol has reopened a highway connector in Pleasanton after a fatal crash this morning. The southbound Interstate Highway 680 connector to eastbound Interstate Highway 580 has reopened, CHP officials said.

The crash was first reported on the highway connector around 7:30 a.m., according to CHP officials. One person died after a truck reportedly crashed into a center divider on the connector.
