iSmash Rage Room Opening In Pleasanton
Guests will soon be able to blow off steam by smashing up to 80 glass items and 8 electronic devices at iSmash's first California location.

PLEASANTON, CA — There's a lot to be mad about these days, but now there's a healthy outlet for it.
National rage room franchise iSmash is opening its first California location in Pleasanton at 4275 Rosewood Drive, at the intersection of I-580 and Santa Rita Road. The new iSmash, which hopes to open around the holiday season, will offer a series of rage rooms, where guests can smash up to 80 glass items, 8 electronic devices, and even a car windshield for up to 50 minutes. At other iSmash locations, prices range from $45 per person for 20 minutes to $95 for 50 minutes.
The location will also feature splatter rooms, where guests can throw a whole rainbow's worth of glowing paint at the walls of a dark room. Guests will be able to come individually or with large groups for birthday parties or team building retreats.

The Pleasanton location will be owned by East Bay residents Michael Hardman and Herman Yang, who currently work in insurance and financial planning.
“We’ve visited other rage rooms over the years, and while the core idea is exciting, we knew there was room to enhance the experience,” Hardman said in a statement. “iSmash’s modern design immediately stood out to us as the perfect setting for our community to let loose. We’re building something that feels polished, safe, and energizing, while also encouraging repeat visits.”
