Lost Valuable Jewelry In The Tri-Valley? Cops May Have It

Two rings were found on separate occasions. Both are sitting in a police box marked "found property."

SAN RAMON, CA — Two rings are sitting in a San Ramon Police Department box marked “found property,” and the agency is trying to reunite the pieces of jewelry with their owners.

Both rings were found within the last two years.

The first one, a gold ring with multiple stones and vintage in appearance, was found in January 2020 on the floor of a local bank, police said.

The bank kept the ring in a case in case the owner returned, but recently turned it over to police.

The second ring, a silver, engagement-style ring (maybe platinum or white gold) with a rectangular center stone, was found on Dec. 21 at a local shopping center.
